NAD+ IV Therapy in Phuket
A slow NAD+ infusion at our licensed Cherngtalay clinic, prescribed by a lifestyle medicine doctor. One of the most-requested healthy-ageing IV drips in Phuket, studied for its role in cellular energy, cognitive clarity and recovery.
What it is
NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme found in every cell. It plays a central role in how your cells produce energy, repair DNA and regulate metabolism. NAD+ levels tend to decline with age, stress and illness, and that decline is associated with reduced vitality and markers linked to ageing (Rajman et al., 2018).
An NAD+ IV drip delivers the coenzyme directly into the bloodstream, bypassing the digestive tract. A human pilot study has mapped how infused NAD+ is taken up and processed by the body during an intravenous infusion (Grant et al., 2019), and raising the body’s NAD+ has been demonstrated in people using NAD+ precursors (Martens et al., 2018). At Live More this is given as a slow infusion over about 90 minutes, prescribed by one of our doctors and administered by a registered nurse.
The therapy is ฿5,400 per session. A doctor's consultation is included and is required before your first NAD+ drip.
Who it is for
NAD+ IV therapy is commonly chosen by people who want to support healthy ageing, sustained energy and mental clarity. It draws a strong wellness-tourist following in Phuket, and is one of our most-requested drips among Russian and Chinese visitors as well as expats living on the west coast.
It may suit you if you:
- Want to support healthy ageing and long-term cellular health
- Experience low energy, fatigue or brain fog and want to feel sharper
- Are training hard and looking for recovery support
- Are managing high stress and want to build resilience
- Are on a wider wellness or longevity plan and want a considered addition to it
Whether it is right for you is a conversation to have with our doctor first. It is not suitable for everyone, and some conditions call for extra care (see Safety and consultation below).
What to expect
Your first visit starts with a consultation. One of our lifestyle medicine doctors reviews your health history, current medications and goals, and confirms whether NAD+ is a sensible fit for you. This step is required before the first session.
The drip itself is given as a slow intravenous infusion, usually over about 90 minutes. NAD+ is delivered gently on purpose. A slower rate is more comfortable and helps the coenzyme be taken up properly. During the infusion some people notice passing sensations such as mild flushing, chest tightness or slight nausea. These are temporary and are managed by easing the infusion rate, which is one reason a nurse stays with you throughout.
You can sit back and relax while the drip runs. Our on-site Courtside Café is a few steps away if you would like a coffee before or after. Many people describe a lift in energy and clarity over a course of sessions rather than from a single visit, and results are often maintained with periodic top-ups.
Benefits
The benefits below reflect what NAD+ has been studied for and what patients commonly report. They are not guarantees, and individual responses vary.
Cellular energy. NAD+ is essential for mitochondrial energy production, so replenishing it is studied for its role in reducing fatigue and supporting steadier, more sustained energy through the day.
Healthy ageing. NAD+ acts as a co-substrate for repair enzymes known as sirtuins and supports DNA repair (Verdin, 2015). Its decline is closely associated with the biology of ageing, which is why NAD+ is one of the most-discussed molecules in the longevity field (Rajman et al., 2018).
Cognitive clarity. Because the brain is metabolically demanding, NAD+ has been explored for its role in mental clarity, focus and neurological resilience. Many patients describe feeling sharper and less foggy after a course.
Athletic recovery. By supporting energy metabolism and cellular repair, NAD+ is often chosen by active people to help recovery from training and exertion.
Stress resilience. NAD+ supports the cellular repair and antioxidant pathways that come under load during periods of stress, and is commonly used as part of a wider plan to build resilience.
Safety and consultation
Live More is a lifestyle clinic licensed by the Thai Ministry of Public Health (clinic licence 83101001366). Every IV therapy is prescribed by a lifestyle medicine doctor and administered by a registered nurse. Nothing is given without a consultation first.
NAD+ IV therapy is generally well tolerated. The passing sensations some people feel during the infusion (flushing, mild chest tightness, light nausea) settle when the rate is eased, and a nurse stays with you throughout. It should be used with extra caution, and only under medical supervision, in people with significant cardiovascular instability or active cancer, which is part of why the consultation matters.
Bring a list of any medications or supplements you take to your consultation. If NAD+ is not the right fit, our doctor will say so and can suggest an alternative. To book, plan a visit and we will arrange your consultation and first session.
